I woke up very early today at 6am. I don’t know why but just felt like waking up early. Today, we had a city tour to the the museums. It was really cool I tell u. I’ve never seen such a big museum before not In Singapore I guess. The museum hold lots of history behind the existence of China and I love to just know about how it came about. Below are some pictures taken. After that, we head to the yellow crane tower. I really learnt a lot from today’s trip. I just envy people like Qu Yuan. I now know the history behind the yellow crane tower.
In between the trip, we had a stop at a ‘food paradise’ centre. That’s what I call it because it simply has all the food that we want. There’s even a muslim stall there and it’s really very nice. Me and fiza shared a bowl of noodle with beef and we also bought this sesame bread. Really very nice.
After the whole trip, we went back to the hostel and that’s all that we did today. We basically just slept the whole day. Really very tiring and watsmore i had sore eyes and it kinda effects my mood too but today was overall a fun day!!

This morning we had a trip to the steel making company. It was really huge I tell u. We got ready at around 815 and went off at 845 with a bus provided. We got to see how they make the steel. It was really a thrilling one because the they were making the steel and we got to see it live. We can even feel the heat of the furnace I think. I’m not so sure what is it called. After that, we went back to our hostel and the whole of the LMGT went to the malay eatery to have lunch together because since me and fiza have problem finding food.
After lunch, we went to one of the so called ‘stationery shops’ to just look around but I end up buying some stuffs for myself to just kill boredom since I don’t have internet connection so while waiting for fiza and adelene to finish using their comp, I could draw some portraits. I bought sketch books, pencils and some markers. It’s really cheap.
Since it was raining and all of us are tired, so we went back to our rooms. Eventually all of us slept till night and at around 8pm, feeling hungry, me, fiza and adelene went out to buy some food. I bought fillet-o-fish meal again and that’s all for the day. LIGHTS OFF!!

Early in the morning, we had our IS lesson. Conducted by a china lady named ‘shao lin’(I think). She did a powerpoint slide covering almost all the history of China. Although it was kind of tiring towards the end, I learnt quite a lot of interesting facts on the chinese myths.
Class ended at 12pm and me, adelene and fiza went to the malay eatery again to have our lunch. After that, it was all the way free and easy. We did nothing much because we’re too tired from yesterday’s outing.
For dinner, we didn’t go out but we cook our own food. I think we have to start saving money. Heh!
LIGHTS OFF!!
during our IS lesson.. hmm.. ive got no comment for this. hahha. i mean.. id get tired too..

We started school today at 9am. Being the first day, we went to school together. Imagine having the whole lot of Singapore kid going to school together. So cute. In class we learned about the basic fundamentals of BPE. Things we learnt:
-the different types of ‘S’,
-the different types of ‘cons’,
-the meaning of ‘BPE’,
-what does it mean.
After class me and fiza went to search for the muslim eatery. The one that we saw on our way to the hostel on the first day. We wanted to try buying the food ourselves without any help from our friends. We managed to order the food we want and amazingly they actually understand our chinese pronounciation. It was fun though. We had to head back to our hostel as soon as possible so as not to miss the next outing which is at 1.30pm.
After lunch, we head to a place where is similar to Orchard Road. I finally get to sit in the bus and only cost us 2RMB and the journey is about 45 mins. It was fun exploring whole of China. Along the journey I saw different shops along the road which is far much more fortunate then the ones at Wuhan.
Soon as we reached the destination, there’s a theme park located near the place and we went it. It was the best park ever. I LOVE IT! How I wish my family was there too. The theme park was big and we paid 20RMB just for the roller coaster and 8RMB for the Viking ship. There’s pictures too taken during the trip there. I promised myself to go there again just before I go back to Singapore. Hee..
After the theme park, we finally went to the shopping centre we wanted to go. There’s nothing much there except for clothings, shoes. It’s just exactly the same as Singapore but only that the things are cheaper by a bit.
We went to some few places to eat and went back home like around 9plus. Because it was already late, we took the cab back home and it cost us about 30RMB. The scary part was that the driver actually brought us to the wrong hostel. We got scared and we showed him a card showing our address and he brought us back to the hostel with only a few cents round down to the original cab fare due to his negligence. Hmm. How should we rate it? I’d say our safety is the main concern so I don’t mind.
The only thing I hate about today is the fact that I fell down and hurt myself. I actually got a blue black on my face and I sprained my hand. So bad luck.
Cleaned up myself and went to bed after that.
LIGHTS OFF!!
there's lots of table tennis court and badminton court but tight now its kinda quiet because students are all on holiday.
the fruit stalls on our back lane.

We FINALLY found our first muslim food stall near our place n its reali2 nice..
the theme park we went that's something like escape theme park but with more exciting rides.. hahah!!

I did pretty not much today. We woke up at around 7 to get ready but was still late for the breakfast because the food were mostly sold out. Early today at around 9.30am, I had an orientation briefing with the lecturers and some student of Wuhan University which followed by the around the school tour by a lecturer. Only today that we got to know Wuhan University is kind of ‘BIG’. The orientation was held in Chinese and me and my another malay friend were in a ‘question mark’ look because we don’t understand a single thing that was said. It was funny but we managed to ask our friend to translate for us everything single detail. Then, we were brought to a lecture hall and our classrooms where we will be having our classes tomorrow. The classrooms here are totally different from the classrooms in our school in Ngee Ann. But however it was not a setback for me.
After the orientation, we had our own free timing. It was free and easy. We went to the grocery shop to get our stuffs to be brought back to the hostel for lunch. We had Maggie for lunch and hadn’t eaten Maggie for quite long, hmmm… it made me kind of wonder how to make one. Hehhh..
After lunch we stayed in the hostel managing the hostel. Manage to kill every single ‘unwanted guest’ in the room. After everything was done, including the washing of clothes, we played a game called ‘bluff’ which uses the poker cards. It was funny and I really had a fun time hanging around with the 2 girls in my room without them I think it’ll be boring.
An IT expert man came to our room to get the internet connection done. But however, only 2 internets were able to use whereas one was faulty. So we just make do with it. Taking turns.
At around 6, we went out to buy the international prepaid card. I need to call back home. The thought of them just made me want to talk to them and so we went out. I got myself a prepaid card worth 66RMB which cost 50 RMB. Kind of a cheap bargain and the lady who served us was very polite. She got us the number to call back home as well as check for us the prices and connection rate. I was really stunned by her service. ‘Well job!’ I called back home and called my mother first of all. I was delighted to hear her voice.
So today, was overall ok. I got everything in hand I guess and most of all I had fun.
Tomorrow lesson is at 9am and I got to wake up at 7am. How is that possible?? I don’t know but I’ll try. Lecture at the classroom shown to us tomorrow. I made a promised that tomorrow there’ll be no more Maggie or MacDonalds and I want to try eating at the canteen. So that’s my goal for tomorrow.
So for now, that’s all. LIGHTS OFF(11.40pm)!!

We started off with a touching day at the airport, bidding last goodbye to our family members. It was really a touching one where I tried hard not to cry by in my heart was a cute little red heart crying out loud. Today, marks a new day ahead of us. What was in store for us or were in my mind throughout the journey ahead of me was only a rough imagination of what China, Wuhan was going to be.
I had all along picture China as a cool country. A country full of weird inventions from people. As far as it thought of it that way, I was really looking forward for the journey despite the sadness look in my parents’ eyes.
We went to Guangzhou, some province in China where we had to transfer to another flight that will bring us straight to Wuhan where we would be living in the hostel of Wuhan University of Science & Technology. It was a long journey. 3 hours flight to Guangzhou and another roughly 3 hours to Wuhan. It got us so shag that no matter what food was served to us on the second flight was not able to be consumed by us anymore.
Reaching the Wuhan airport got us amazed by how different it look from our airport and from the Guangzhou Airport we were from however, I believed all of us have a rough view of how China was like but however it got us more excited to know more about it. We were brought to board a bus that would bring us to Wuhan University where it our bus were 2 China Year 1 girls studying logistics management in Wuhan. She brought us to the University there.
I unpacked my stuff upon reaching and were told to gather to go for dinner at MacDonalds. It was our first night out at Wuhan. I encounter some difficulty in communicating with the crew of MacDonalds but however it got me to laughter not as sarcasm remarks but as an encouragement to further improve on my daily life for another ehemmm… 5 weeks 6 days more. What’s more, I’m so not familiar with the Chinese accent here.
We all went back to our room, wash ourselves from the hectic day and finally, LIGHTS OFF!! Below are pictures of the day!!
